Every face is lopsided. Photograph one, mirror the left half onto itself, then mirror the right half onto itself, and you get two people who look related rather than identical. The asymmetry is where most of the recognisable character sits, which is why a portrait split down the middle reads as two claims about one person.

A face split that way: one half laid over with the carved marks of a ceremonial mask and a ridged crown, the other left plain. Where the pattern stops, the features hold. Same jaw, same brow, same man.
