Le Modulor T-Shirt

Design Description

Le Corbusier spent the 1940s building a measuring system out of a human body and the golden section, then used it to set the height of doorways, ceilings and handrails across entire buildings. He called it the Modulor. His argument was that a room should take its dimensions from the person standing in it rather than from an arbitrary metre.

Somebody looked at a body and decided it was the correct unit of measurement for everything else. That instinct is very old, and it keeps turning out to be right.
