There is a telescope in Chile built to photograph the entire southern sky every few nights, for ten years straight, so that anything which moves or changes or arrives gets caught on the way past. It generates about twenty terabytes a night. The whole design principle is continuity: everything watched at once, indefinitely, so every event lands in front of a witness.

Clean minimal line-art traces a single watching eye, lashes radiating outward like sunbeams, two crossed lines resting just beneath it like a mark left by something old. Some watchers hold their post through every generation, whether or otherwise anybody looks back at them.
